Off the Mat: Flowing through Life

'Flow' state is the key to being alert, refreshed, and grounded throughout your day.

Join the ASU Center for Mindfulness, Compassion and Resilience and certified yoga instructor Felicia DeBruin for Off the Mat: Flowing through LIfe. Deepen your personal relationships, gain a better understanding of your true nature, and learn how to keep that sense of wellness when class is over and you are off the mat and out in the world. Participants will gain guidelines and tools from ancient yoga texts to learn and follow in their everyday lives.

This workshop is open to all levels, from beginner to advanced. No prior yoga experience is required though, and this will not be a movement-based class.

About the facilitator

Felicia DeBruin, E-RYT, facilitates Off the Mat: Flowing through Life.

Felicia DeBruin, E-RYT is originally from Miami, Florida. After an injury ended her professional dancing career, Felicia discovered yoga and was immediately drawn to the mind-body connection it provides. She earned her certification studying under Master Yoga Teacher Rina Jakubowicz. Today, Felicia enjoys teaching beginner to advanced classes and encouraging students to "live in yoga" on and off their mat.
